Conductor
Amy J. Steiner

We hope to become one of western New York's finest performing ensembles.

I am so proud to be the conductor of this fine ensemble. Going into the fifth year of its establishment, we have performed in exciting venues, played challenging repertoire and took second place in the New York State American Legion Parade, while making friends along the way.

Our group is unique in that it encompasses such a wide variety of ages and everyone involved is dedicated to making fine music together. I am looking forward to this next season with the band. We have picked a great line-up of music for the upcoming concert series that will stimulate not only the audience, but the musicians as well.

This new band has already exceeded my expectations.

When we decided to merge the Amherst Community Band and the Niagara Frontier Concert Band a few months ago I was very apprehensive about the resulting group. To my great relief, this new band has already exceeded my expectations.

I believe this ensemble now fills a very needed void in Western New York. Musicians can get together in an enjoyable, relaxed and non-pressured atmosphere to play good music really well, and have fun doing it. This band has the perfect balance to age and youth, experience and naivete, and seriousness and humor that makes rehearsals something to really look forward to each week. It is my honor and pleasure to conduct them.

Assistant Conductor
Frank Colletti

I am thrilled to be one of the directors of the new Buffalo Niagara Concert Band. The merger of two well-established organizations has gone smoothly and the group has truly come together better than any of us could have imagined! The band is jelling both musically and socially. Everyone is making new friends and having fun making music every week. I'm glad to be in on the ground floor of an ensemble that I believe can be a significant musical organization in Western New York!
